Kasia Kadłubowska – percussionist, performer, singer song writer, educator – was born in 87 in nord polish city Gdańsk.

She started to play piano with age of seven, and take courses of music theory, music history, solfage and harmony in Music School name of Felix Nowowiejski in Gdańsk.

In age of fourteen she change a major instrument from piano to percussion.

Already as teenenger she was playing as percussionist with different bands like klezmer music, jazz or kaszëbë music (polish folk). She was performing as a solist on the stage by Baltic Orchestra, Polish Philharmony, Polish Radio, Polish Television and travelling around europe with Percussion Ensemble Jeunesse Musicales under Piotr Sutt direction.

 In age of 18 she moved to Stuttgart, to continue her study in percussion with world known percussion solist Marta Klimasara.

She visited master classes of Bernard Maseli, Nippi Noya, Cezary Konrad, Keiko Abe, Jean Geoffroy, Christian Dirstein, Frederic Macarez, David Friedmann, Emmanuel Sejourne and many others.

 She is co-creator and performer by Kalaschnikovduo/trio, Stuttgart Artist Colective, DualityArtMusic and Contemporary Music Ensemble Provakant. She is playing also with Marie Louise Band, Endless by Steffen Dix and Natia Dikhtiar Jazz Trio.

Master of Art on the Academy for Music and Performing Art in Stuttgart (Germany) and in Academy of Music in Gdansk (Poland). She was also studying in Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse in Lyon (France).

 The winner of numerous international awards:

I Prize on III Open Vibraphone Competition in Opole (Poland), II Prize on : Interntional Marimba Competition in Nürnberg (Germany), International Marimba Competition in Paris (France) and International Marimba Competition in Fermo (Italy), public award on Music Forum for Youth in Gdansk (Polen).

 For special achievements received numerous scholarships:

Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Scholarship for extraordinary Student name Gabeirel Fahrenheit, President of City Gdansk, Marshal of Pomeranian, Rotary Club Poland, Foundation Yehudi Menuhin ”Live Music Now” and Alfred Toepfer Foundation. Laureate of Polish Television Music Program ”Creativity Valley” (”’Dolina Kreatywna”).
